A Schengen visa checklist built for your case
A personalised Schengen visa document checklist built from your destination, purpose and circumstances — with what each item is for and who provides it.
Who this is for
Anyone working from a list they found online and unsure which items apply to them, and anyone whose situation is not the standard salaried employee the generic lists assume.
What we need from you
- Your destination and purpose of travel
- Your circumstances at home — work, study, business, retirement, family
- Whether anyone is sponsoring the trip, and whether a refusal is on record
What you get
- The list for your case, with items that do not apply to you removed and the reason shown
- What each item is for, so you know what a substitute has to prove
- Who provides each one — you, your sponsor, or Schengen Partners
One usually covers applicant and sponsor.
Common questions
Start there, always. A published checklist tells you the minimum for a general applicant; it does not tell you which items apply to a retired person, a business owner or someone with a sponsor, or what to do when a usual document does not exist for you.
Say so. “I do not have this” is a normal answer and a different thing from “not applicable”. We look for genuine alternative evidence rather than inventing a replacement.
